Locality: Perth Area, Australia
Summary: My career in Project management has taken shape over the last six years, to a point now where I am excited with the direction it is taking, and am now seeking to extend myself into new areas. I have had a broad based work life, starting as a machine operator in quarries, a store-man, construction companies, and then moving into IT as a technical expert, before reeducating myself and discovering Project Management. I have had the pleasure to work with some very interesting and compelling people on my Projects, and this has enhanced my belief and trust in Best Practice. Most recently I was working on the FESA / Chubb Project in West Australia. However I have now moved from Chubb to Worley Parsons into a permanent role. My role at Fluor / BHP involved working on the BHP Rapid Growth Project in West Australia. This has taken shape over the whole state, with several dozen metro and regional sites. I have put myself through the PMI Diploma in Project Management, and am currently studying for my Prince2 accreditation. I am a firm believer in continual self improvement and genuinely enjoy study and education. I am seeking to align myself with like mended persons or organizations where I can collaborate to assist with the exciting and diverse Projects that lie ahead.
