I was diagnosed with Stage 3 rectal cancer in October 2023. The most frustrating part is that I could have been diagnosed a year earlier.

I'm a clinical psychologist with a PhD in school bullying interventions, and 15 years of experience developing and delivering school well-being programs.

I was told I didn't have cancer three times. Because I was too young, because I had no family history, because my ultrasound wasn't suspicious.
